We heard this place had good fish and chips so we had to give it a try. I wouldn't normally think of getting amazing fish and chips in idaho but they were!! The fish was light, flavorful, not fishy at all and the breading was great. The tartar sauce and coleslaw were good too. I had the steak fingers and though I was a little hesitant, they were so tender! Not a fancy place, but the food and service were great

This bar and restaurant is worth the trip out from Boise and you should definitely stop if you're passing through on your way to the Wood River area or anywhere else that brings you near! The food is great, especially the fish, which is flown in from Alaska! The owner is very friendly and conversational, she used to live and fish in Alaska, hence the connections for great fish! Pictured is the fish and chips. Nearby you can visit the Gooding City of Rocks, ski Soldier Mountain, and check out the Centennial Camas Marsh.

Fish and Chips was amazing! So fresh on a Wednesday afternoon, flown right in from Alaska where the owner is from. Would definitely come back again, and recommend to friends/family. This place was recommended to me by locals!

The best Alaskan cod fish & fries I've had. Looking forward to going back. And the owner was pleasant to chat with for a bit.

Came to the area for a ski weekend at Soldier Mountain. We arrived after a long drive and wanted to stop to eat before checking in to our rental. Stopped at The Cliff Bar and Grille for food and drinks not knowing anything about this place. Lemme tell you .....we were NOT disappointed! Such a great little place, unassuming and welcoming. We ordered fried green beans, fish sandwich with coleslaw, and a black bean burger with fries. Everything was sooooo good. Service was quick and spot on and, again, warm and welcoming. We'll be back before this weekend is over. Definitely for après ski! Tip: if you get the fish sandwich, get it with the slaw and pile that stuff high on the sandwich before digging in. I promise you won't be disappointed. Oh, and if you like a dry cider, get the Seattle cider to drink. Prost!

Super cheap beer and drinks. They had a vodka soda for only $1.50! It said they closed at 8pm on a Friday but they stayed open until at least 9pm... think it depends on how busy they are.
